Discovering the creation era of ancient paintings at Mogao Grottoes, China

The Mogao Grottoes are located in the western end of the Hexi Corridor along the ancient Silk Road in Dunhuang, China. From 366 to 1368 AD, a large group of Buddha caves were constructed that includes 735 caves, 45,000m2 mural paintings, and 2,415 argillaceous painted sculptures.
