The Mogao Grottoes are located in the western end of the Hexi Corridor along the ancient Silk Road in Dunhuang, China. From 366 to 1368 AD, a large group of Buddha caves were constructed that includes 735 caves, 45,000m2 mural paintings, and 2,415 argillaceous painted sculptures.
