Neolithic fishing site found in southern Norway

The whole story starts with a farmer. Specifically, the farmer at Jortveit farm in southern Norway. Around the beginning of the 1930s he decided to drain a wetland near the farm so he could cultivate new land.

These are two of the harpoons that researchers found under the field at the Jortveit farm in
southern Norway. They were probably in use sometime between 5700 and 4500 years ago
